Emerald Cocktail Kitchen Partners with Local Organizations to Honor Sobriety
The rooftop bar will create a safe space for patrons to socialize while abstaining from alcohol

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – In honor of mental health awareness month, owner Michele Roesch announced the first-annual, alcohol-free event, Dry Day, on May 9, aimed at fostering a supportive environment for those embracing sobriety.

“We want people, wherever they are in their sobriety journey, to enjoy socializing without the pressure of alcohol,” Roesch said.

In collaboration with safespace CNY, ACR Health, and David from Cuse A.F. Instagram page, Emerald Cocktail Kitchen invites the community to indulge in hand-crafted mocktails, good food, and non-alcoholic beverage samples. Commencing at 4 p.m., the event will exclusively offer non-alcoholic options, with dinner reservations available.

“Whether you’re in recovery, expecting a baby, or just curious about sobriety, you’re welcome here,” Roesch said.

Local organizations will be there too, each offering their own token of alcoholic-free contributions. Athletic Brewing will showcase its range of NA beers, while safespace and ACR will fashion mocktails, with a portion of sales benefiting their cause. Collaborating with David from Cuse AF, Emerald will curate a specialized N.A. canned selection, alongside introducing three exclusive mocktail creations for the occasion.

“I’ve been sober for over a year now,” Roesch shared. “It’s important that I share with my community that socializing doesn’t have to coincide with drinking.”

Founded in 1999, Roeco Inc has been in the restaurant business for 24 years. Marketing the core principles of sustainability, celebration, inclusion, empowerment and service, the company currently owns Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, 1333 W Fayette St., and The Brasserie Bar and Bistro, 200 Township Blvd #20.
